Moment stunned Rangers fans walk out after TWENTY MINUTES as Club Brugge run riot in Champions League nightmare

RAGING Rangers fans were seen walking out of Ibrox after just TWENTY MINUTES of the Champions League clash against Club Brugge.

The Light Blues found themselves 3-0 down as the Belgian side ran riot in a brutal opening period.

Romeo Vermant capitalised on some cataclysmic defending from Djiga, Souttar and Butland to chip in the opener just two minutes on.

The lead was doubled on seven minutes as Jorne Spileers eased into the box unmarked at a corner to sweep home.

And the third came on 20 minutes as the shellshocked Gers couldn’t clear.

Centre-back Brandon Mechele thundered in an unstoppable drive from outside the box.

The boos were deafening at Ibrox and many fans had seen enough.

Commentator Jon Champion told viewers “there are significant numbers of people heading for the exits.”

TV cameras then cut to a number of Gers fans streaming out with not even half of the first half gone.

Loud boos echoed around Ibrox after both the second and third goals.

There were also loud jeers as the Gers gifted Brugge space and time on the ball.

Huge boos followed as referee Francois Letexier blew his half-time whistle.

Danilo got a goal back in the second half with the Light Blues needing to recover two goals to level things up in Brugge next week.

Russell Martin could only watch on with his Champions League dreams already looking in complete and utter tatters.

The game followed a 4-2 win over Alloa in the Premier Sports Cup on Saturday, a match that saw the Gers unconvincing in defence against the third tier outfit.

Martin made seven changes to the side from that game with Jayden Meghoma handed a debut at left-back.
