This Saturday, March 29 the sequel to the most watched female main event (933,000 avg. viewers) on ESPN since 2005 will happen at the BleauLive Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mikaela Mayer and Sandy Ryan will seek to continue the action-packed war they had last  September whereby they exchanged 1,203 punches between the two in the 20-minute war.

Only a punch separated them in punches landed with Mayer landing 186 to Ryan’s 185  (Compubox). Mayer was awarded the majority decision in a very close match.

There is genuine bad blood between the two, from Ryan hiring Mayer’s longtime trainer Kay  Koroma to Sandy being attacked with paint on fight night. The drama of the rematch is already beginning. Yesterday, both Ryan and Mayer were set to have a face-to-face live stream interview with Sky Sports, but Sandy decided not to attend. Mikaela criticized her on Twitter (X), and Ryan responded with a post of the Conor McGregor strut. Today at 12:30, primetime, they’re scheduled to start fight week festivities by having a face-off at the Rotunda outside of the BleauLive Theater, which should make for an interesting photo op.
