COMEDIAN Matt Lucas has struck up an unlikely friendship with an Arsenal Wag.
The Arsenal megafan was spotted looking chummy as the pals enjoyed a day out at a chocolate museum in Belgium.
Lucas, 51, and Laura Trossard Hilven, wife of Arsenal star Leandro Trossard, appeared to have an absolute blast in Brussels.
Laura posted pictures of the friends exploring the sugary delights on offer in her home country.
Laura, 32, shared a series of snaps with the caption: “A CHOCOLAT-IE day with Matt today. 🤎”
One of the pictures showed them wearing aprons while making chocolate molds in a factory.
While Lucas later bought chocolate figurines of music legends Freddie Mercury and Elton John.
Laura also included a picture of her and Trossard’s young son enjoying a chocolate lolly gift at home later.
Laura is clearly spending time with her family and friends in Belgium, while Trossard takes part in Arsenal’s pre-season tour in Asia.
The Come Fly with Me actor and Laura appeared to form a friendship while attending Arsenal games.
Laura first posted a picture of her and Lucas at Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Fulham at Craven Cottage last season.
Lucas, who stepped down from his co-hosting duties on Bake Off in December 2022, hosted two seasons of Sky Max’s Fantasy Football League revival last year.
Laura has been married to Trossard since 2019, with the couple enjoying recent holidays in Ibiza and Portgual.
The loved-up pair first met back in 2014 when the forward was playing for Belgian side KRC Genk.
They welcomed their first child, Thiago, into the world in 2017 and announced the birth of their second child, Amadeo, in early 2023.
Meanwhile, Trossard started Arsenal’s 3-2 pre-season win over Newcastle in Singapore.
The 30-year-old ace has been linked with a move away this summer, but now looks set to stay in North London.
He has racked up 28 goals and 23 assists since joining Arsenal from Brighton for just £27million two years ago.
