The centre-back remains adamant he wants an exit after manager Oliver Glasner confirmed he has no intention of signing a new deal.

Guehi’s contract expires at the end of the 2025-26 season and has a number of teams chasing his signature.

One of those teams are Bayern Munich, according to Sky in Germany, who say they have already held talks with Guehi’s camp.

Bayern are looking for a new central defender in case either of Dayot Upamecano or Kim Min-Jae leave the club.

The report says Bayern official Max Eberl met with Guehi’s agent Gordon Stipic in Munich in recent days.

It adds that while Bayern are “fully in the race”, they will be challenged by Liverpool after the Reds came close to signing the player this summer.

Real Madrid are also vying to secure Guehi’s signature, the report goes on to say.

If Bayern can’t entice Guehi to Munich, Borussia Dortmund‘s Nico Schlotterbeck is another target.

Guehi is enjoying a career high after helping Crystal Palace win their first ever FA Cup against Manchester City in May.

In the last year, he has been chased by both Newcastle and Liverpool, with the former failing with a £65m bid in January.

He looked destined to finally join Liverpool in the summer after undergoing a medical before Palace chief Steve Parish pulled the plug at the last minute.

Glasner confirmed Guehi was seeking an exit and said the priority for the club now was finding a way forward.

The coach said: “The club wanted [him to stay]. They offered Marc a new contract.

“But he said, “no, I want to make something different”. And that’s normal.

“And for us, it’s how we can deal with this situation? [What] is the best way to get this next step done? And that’s all about how we are talking together.”

Guehi has started all eight of Crystal Palace’s Premier League games this season, scoring once and assisting another.
