Man Utd transfer news LIVE: Red Devils close in on NEW goalkeeper, United eye ‘Stiller move’, Hojlund set for ‘EXIT’

United open to selling struggling Hojlund

Manchester United are ready to let Rasmus Hojlund leave on loan this summer — with Napoli circling, reports Fabrizio Romano.

The Italians are keen on the striker and have been told United would sanction a temporary switch including either an option or an obligation to buy.

United favour a permanent clause — and Hojlund himself is said to be pushing for any deal to include an obligation.

United want competition for Garnacho

Manchester United are hoping Tottenham jump back into the hunt for Alejandro Garnacho — to spark a bidding war with Chelsea, according to GIVEMESPORT.

United have given Spurs the green light to make an offer, amid fears Chelsea could drive them into accepting a cut-price deal.

Thomas Frank’s side may yet take up the chance as they look for an alternative to Arsenal-bound Eberechi Eze in the final days of the window.

Harry Maguire has been speaking about his future

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has been speaking about is future amid growing reports that he could leave the club this summer.

Maguire is quoted by the Manchester Evening News: ” Last year, the clause was in their hands, so there was no option for me there.

“There was no talking. It was just that they activated it, and it got extended. This year, obviously I’m up at the end of the year.

“I’m pretty sure the club have made it aware this summer that I can’t leave the club on any terms with other clubs enquiring about my things and my position with my contract.

“I’m sure over the next few months they’ll sit down and we’ll have to have a conversation about where we want to go and if they want to extend, or obviously the transfer window will open again in January.”

Wharton blow

According to Diario AS, Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, in a blow to Man Utd’s pursuit.

Man City and Liverpool are also said to be monitoring the England international.

Reports in Spain note that Wharton would cost a minimum of £69million.

Los Blancos would only move for Wharton this window if they were to make a major sale in the remaining weeks.

United eye Baleba alternative

The Red Devils are still exploring the market for another midfielder this summer.

United reportedly like Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller, but there has been no club-to-club contact just yet.

It comes after Brighton made it clear that primary target, Carlos Baleba, was not available in this window.

PSV eye Red Devils star

PSV Eindhoven are plotting a late move for Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee, according to reports.

The Dutch side are on the hunt for a new frontman after Alassane Plea was ruled out with a long-term injury.

GetFootballNewsBene claim Zirkzee is seen as their ‘dream candidate’ — and it’s now ‘clear’ that PSV are preparing to make an approach in the coming days.
