Juve target Sancho

Jadon Sancho is a reported target for Serie A giants Juventus.

Sky Sports have claimed that the Italian club are exploring the conditions of a deal to sign the Manchester United outcast.

Sancho has one year left on his deal with the Red Devils keen for a permanent move this summer.

Xavi Simons ‘interest’

Manchester United are reportedly among the interested parties keeping tabs on RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons.

According to SportBILD, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and United are eyeing Simons.

That is after The Athletic claimed the playmaker wants to leave Leipzig this summer.

The Bundesliga giants are said to want over £60million for the Netherlands international.

McTominay shock

Napoli boss Antonio Conte has admitted he was surprised Napoli signed Scott McTominay.

The Scottish midfielder moved to Naples last summer for £25.7m and fired them to the Serie A title, while picking up the player of the year award.

Conte told Sky Italia: “Scott is a player who I knew really well. He was born and raised at Manchester United.

“I could see that he always made an impact when he played, but at the same time, I noticed he wasn’t used as a key player at Manchester United. He was hardly a starter.

“Honestly, we had talked about it with [Napoli director] Giovanni Manna. He told me it was a possible solution.

If you ask me: ‘Have you ever thought McTominay would surely arrive?’ I’d say no.

“Don’t forget we were heading into a season without European trophies to play for, so he had to leave Manchester United to start over with us.”

Antony’s wage cut

Wantaway winger Antony is ready to accept a 30 per cent pay cut to leave United.

The Brazilian enjoyed a successful loan spell at Real Betis in the second-half of the season.

Betis would like to sign him permanently but may struggle to afford him.

Antony is willing to slash his wage demands to force an exit.

He currently pockets £150,000-a-week due to United not qualifying for the Champions League.

United need to sell him for at least £32.85m to avoid it being registered as a loss on the Prem’s PSR balance sheet.

Sancho open to Serie A

Jadon Sancho is happy to accept a move to Italy amid interest from Napoli.

His agent has reportedly been in contact with clubs in Germany given the winger’s success in Dortmund.

But Serie A could well be his destination this summer.

Juventus are also keen and they have supposedly made an approach to United about the fee needed.
