Antony ultimatum

Manchester United have reportedly given Antony an ultimatum over his future.

The club have told him to accept an offer to a club offering around £30million THIS WEEK.

If he does not then he could be made to stay at Old Trafford until the January window.

Real Betis remain interested by are planning a late loan move for the Brazilian.

Protest cancelled

A Manchester United fan group has cancelled a scheduled protest against the club’s ownership due to split opinion.

The 1958 had organised a march to Old Trafford on Sunday before United’s Premier League opener against Arsenal to demonstrate against minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Ratcliffe’s recent and unpopular policies, such as mass redundancies, failed signings and stadium plans, have sparked frustration within Man Utd’s fan base.

However, the protest had to be postponed after a survey found the supporters divided regarding the Ineos chief’s handling since 2024 when he took over sporting operations.

Almost 63 per cent of the near 26,000 respondents said Sir Jim should be held to account for his decisions so far by means of a protest.

However, 68 per cent also believe the billionaire businessman and Ineos should be given more time.

United ‘offered Upamecano’

Manchester United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Dayot Upamecano.

The French defender appears to be on the way out of Bayern Munich this summer.

However, it comes just days after Bayern sporting director Max Eberl insisted the club were keen to extend his deal in Germany.

He said: “It is definitely an objective for us to extend [Upamecano’s contract].”

Upamecano added: “I am very happy here. There will now be talks between Max, Christoph [Freund, the Bayern sporting director] and my agent. Let’s see what happens.”

Neville demand

Gary Neville believes Manchester United MUST buy a new goalkeeper to have ANY chance of a top six finish.

Sky Sports pundit Neville won eight Prem crowns as Old Trafford’s starting right-back under Sir Alex Ferguson.

But Neville, 50, is dismissive of United’s prospects of coming close to the top of the tree this term.

And he suggested that even earning Champions League football was out of the equation unless Ruben Amorim can land a new No 1.

Neville said: “For United, the top six would be healthy.

“We’ve gone past the point now where we say Manchester United have to win the league. That’s unrealistic.

“My feeling is probably seventh, eighth is where I’m looking at it now.

“But without Europe, they could get into the top six if they have a good run, if they get a goalkeeper. But a lot of things have to go their way.”

Hojlund open to exit

Rasmus Hojlund is reportedly open to leaving Manchester United for AC Milan this summer.

The striker has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford following the arrival of Benjamin Sesko.

MEN have claimed he would be tempted by a move to the San Siro.

The report adds that United are confident of agreeing a deal with Milan.
