MAN United new boy Matheus Cunha has bought the former home of ex-Old Trafford superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Brazilian striker, who signed for the Red Devils last month, snapped up the luxury property for £5million.

Cunha, 26, is set to face Arsenal in the club’s Premier League opener tomorrow, where he will wear the No 10 shirt once graced by Ibrahimovic.

Cunha’s new gaff in Hale, Gtr Manchester, has six bedrooms and six bathrooms and boasts a gym, bar, cinema, studio and pool room.

United’s £62.5million signing from Wolves will hope it is perfect place to settle in the North West with wife Gabriela, who recently gave birth to their second child.

He will also be hoping to emulate Ibrahimovic’s success at Old Trafford.

The Swede scored 29 goals in 53 games for United from 2016 to 2018, winning the Europa League, the EFL Cup and the Community Shield.

Cunha was handed Ibrahimovic’s old shirt number after its previous occupant Marcus Rashford joined Barcelona on a season-long loan.

He made his United debut against Leeds in a friendly in Stockholm and travelled to the US for a pre-season tour.

He and fellow new signings Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko are also set to play tomorrow at Old Trafford.

Manager Ruben Amorim is looking to improve on last season which saw United finish in 15th place and lose in the Europa League final.
