PREMIER LEAGUE flop Sergio Reguilon will be playing with Lionel Messi after joining Inter Miami as a free agent.
Reguilon, 28, was released by Tottenham in May following a hapless five-year stint that saw him amassing a mere total of two goals and nine assists in 73 appearances.

The full-back endured a string of forgettable loan spells at Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Brentford where he registered a total of 40 appearances for all three clubs combined.
The ex-Spain international, who joined Spurs from Real Madrid, only spent a mere four months at United as emergency cover after then manager Erik ten Hag lost both left-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia to injury.
Reguilon only managed 12 appearances across all competitions at Old Trafford and was quickly shipped back to north London on January 2024 before another move to Brentford.
After six months in limbo, the Spaniard finally found a new club as he put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the MLS giants, which includes an option to extend until 2028.

Inter Miami announced: “Inter Miami CF announced today that it has signed Spanish left-back Sergio Reguilon through December 2027, with an extension option until December 2028.
“Reguilon, who will occupy an international roster slot, adds valuable depth to the squad, bringing a wealth of experience having competed at the highest levels of European football.”
Reguilon is now set to link up with eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi, 38, as well as other football stars, such as Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul.
And the defender has become the latest high-profile player to join Manchester United legend David Beckham‘s side.
Reguilon said: “It’s a very ambitious project, a winning Club that is doing things the right way, and that’s what attracted me: coming here to keep winning and competing.
“My objective is to keep winning, go after the trophies we’re missing, and win everything here.”
Fans were left stunned with Reguilon’s “career trajectory” at such a young age.
One football enthusiast tweeted: “Very weird career trajectory for him.”
Another commented: “Surely could have gotten a contract in Spain?”
A third wrote: “Impossible to fill Jordi [Alba]’s shoes…but this will do.”
This fan said: “Inter Miami collecting talent like Pokemon cards.”
And that one added: “Real Gs will never forget the Manchester United Reguilon.”
