MANCHESTER UNITED fans have called on the club to accept a reported bid for Andre Onana.
The goalkeeper’s place is in jeopardy with three goalkeepers now battling for the starting berth.
Altay Bayindir has started United’s opening three Premier League matches so far with Onana making one appearance – in the Carabao Cup defeat to Grimsby.
Senne Lammens arrived on deadline day and Onana could now depart amid interest from Turkey.
Trabzonspor are interested in the keeper and could make a loan bid before the Turkish transfer window closes on September 12, report Takvim.
United fans are keen for the club to accept any incoming bid after Onana was at fault for two goals against Grimsby.
One supporter said: “Accept with immediate effect.”
Another added: “Hallelujah. Turkey to the rescue hopefully.”
A third wrote: “Let them make it permanent abeg.”
And another commented: “Take the deal.”
Onana’s performances have been met with consistent criticism since he signed for the club two years ago.
He missed the opening two games of the season after getting back to full fitness following injury but was then benched for the 3-2 win over Burnley.
Lammens could become United’s No.1 after arriving for £18million and penning a five-year deal.
