MANCHESTER CITY are eyeing a double raid for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush and Atalanta midfielder Ederson.
Pep Guardiola wants to spend this month to reignite his season.
City are sixth in the Prem and in danger of missing out on a Champions League place.
Egyptian star Marmoush, 25, would add firepower to the champions’ struggling frontline.
Boss Guardiola feels Ederson can help City cope without crocked linchpin Rodri, too.
Marmoush – also linked with Arsenal and Liverpool – has 18 goals in 24 games for Frankfurt this season.
They sit third in the Bundesliga, so they are reluctant to sell now.
Nottingham Forest had two bids for Marmoush — up to £28million — rejected in the summer and he is now valued in the £50m bracket.
Serie A leaders Atalanta would want a similar fee for Ederson.
Guardiola feels the Brazilian, 25, would add much-needed midfield steel.
He is keen to fill the void left by Ballon d’Or winner Rodri.
The Spaniard faces a battle to return this season after his knee injury.
