GRIGOR DIMITROV’S Hollywood girlfriend sent him a touching message after his heartbreaking Wimbledon retirement.

The Bulgarian was two sets up against world No1 Jannik Sinner when disaster struck at SW19.

Dimitrov was left in agony as he took a serve, dropping to the ground while clutching his pectoral muscle.

The ace tried in vain to push through the pain.

But he was unable to continue and was forced to retire.

It meant Sinner, despite being well behind in the clash, was able to seal his spot in the quarters.

As for Dimitrov, he was left in tears as realisation of the injury took hold.

However, the 34-year-old has been able to find solace in his actress girlfriend.

Eiza Gonzalez, 35, is a Hollywood star who has featured in smash hit films like Godzilla vs Kong and Mr & Mrs Smith.

The pair went public with their relationship in May.

But things already appear to be intense after Gonzalez, who hails from Mexico, declared Dimitrov to be the “man of my dreams.”

And in another show of support, she announced her love for her tennis beau in a heartfelt social media statement.

Gonzalez wrote online: “Love of my life. I couldn’t be more proud of you. You are BEYOND outstanding.

“This is just a moment that will pass and make you even stronger. But watching you today alongside the world was a reminder of who YOU are.

“You’re a winner. We all saw it. And you’ll do it again. I love you.”

Meanwhile, victorious Sinner paid tribute to Dimitrov, who previously dated Maria Sharapova, and wished him a quick recovery from injury.

Sinner said: “I saw him but in these situations he’s with the team. I don’t want to get too close.

“We are good friends but it’s a very tough moment. For me going there and talking, I don’t think it’s the right moment.

“I don’t know anything at the moment. It’s very unfortunate. I wish him a speedy recovery.”
