LAMINE YAMAL has been labelled a “little diva” for his actions during Portugal’s trophy lift at the Nations League.

The Barcelona wonderkid suffered disappointment as Spain were beaten on penalties in the final on Sunday.

Yamal, 17, endured a tough game as he was up against star defender Nuno Mendes.

The winger was subbed off by Luis de la Fuente in the 105th minute, denying him the chance to step up in the shootout.

Yamal’s frustration was clear to see during Portugal’s trophy lift.

The Spain team could be seen applauding the victors, but Yamal was spotted by fans walking away and not clapping.

Yamal walked off from his team-mates and made his way down the tunnel behind all the photographers snapping the victors.

The moment was spotted by fans who called out Yamal on social media.

One posted: “That’s the Barca way.”

A second commented: “He has school tomorrow. Gotta go to bed.”

A third wrote: “Nuno Mendes told him that he was grounded.”

A fourth said: “He is already becoming a little diva.”

I sold Lamine Yamal trading card for life changing amount – my wife doesn’t think it’s a silly hobby now

A fifth joked: “At 18 I would’ve slide tackled someone after the final whistle… people forget he’s just a kid

Another added: “I don’t get why the losing team has to stay to begin with.”

Meanwhile, Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo was on the other side of the celebrations as he dropped to his knees at full time.

Ronaldo was also the target of a suggestive banner held up by a fan in the stands.

The sign left ITV commentators Seb Hutchinson and Andros Townsend stunned as it was shown more than once.
