LIONEL MESSI will unveil a 70ft statue of himself in India ahead of a special tour.
Messi, 38, is considered by many across the globe as the greatest football star of all time.
The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner won 10 LaLiga titles, seven Copa del Rey honours and four Champions League trophies during a glittering 17-year stint with Barcelona.
The star forward also led Argentina to World Cup success in 2022 as well as two Copa America honours.
Messi has continued to ramp up his trophy collection, which also includes two Ligue 1 titles from his two-year spell at Paris Saint-Germain, during his time in the MLS with Inter Miami.
The Argentina captain led David Beckham‘s team to the MLS Cup last week and lifted his third trophy with the Miami outfit after also winning the Supporters’ Shield and Leagues Cup.

The Barcelona legend’s continued success led his fans in India to put together a three-day GOAT Tour, which he is scheduled to attend.
According to the BBC, the Argentine great will fly to Kolkata on Saturday to unveil the statue himself.
The tour begins at 10:30am local time before the Inter Miami star heads to Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi.
Messi will be accompanied by club-mates Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul.
The statue has been assembled over the course of 27 days by a 45-strong crew and stands at a mammoth 70ft.
Fans can also visit the Hola Messi fan zone where there is a life-sized replica of the player sat on a throne.
Messi has already been honoured with a bronze statue in Argentina back in 2016.
And Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently confirmed the club is “working on” a statue at the Nou Camp.
