The 38-year-old is no longer playing at the highest level after moving to Inter Miami in the MLS, but that hasn’t stopped him from adding more accolades to his collection.

Messi played a starring role in Miami’s 5-1 romp over New York City to help them reach win the Eastern Conference final.

The World Cup winner assisted Mateo Silvetti’s goal to make it 3-0, and that took him above legendary former Real Madrid star Ferenc Puskas in the process.

Messi has now provided 405 assists in his career after 1168 games for club and country.
