The Baltimore Ravens notched a massively important victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16, with quarterback Lamar Jackson and Co. winning 34-17.

Not only did the win prevent the Steelers from clinching the AFC North title, it also puts the Ravens in a tie for first place with Pittsburgh with just two games remaining on the schedule.

The Steelers had been Jackson’s boogeyman throughout his career, but that all changed on Saturday, with the former first-round pick coming up big for Baltimore, with his interception being the only blemish.

Jackson threw for 207 yards and three touchdowns to the one pick, and he ran the ball nine times for 22 yards. The three passing touchdowns are a new personal single-game best for Jackson against the Steelers.

It should be noted that the Steelers were extremely shorthanded in the secondary.

Not only were cornerback Donte Jackson and safety DeShon Elliott inactive due to injury, but Pittsburgh’s No. 1 cornerback Joey Porter Jr. exited the game early with a knee injury. Nevertheless, Jackson did what he needed to in order to propel the Ravens to a huge win.

Jackson also had a helping hand from running back Derrick Henry, who rumbled for 162 yards on the ground. That rushing yards total is the most for a Ravens running back in a single game against the Steelers.

Now, things get interesting in the AFC North with two games left.

The Steelers will draw a home matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs and then a road game versus Cincinnati in Week 18. Meanwhile, the Ravens draw the Houston Texans in Week 17, and the Cleveland Browns in the season finale.
