Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis left Tuesday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers with an abdominal strain and did not return.
Davis suffered left the court at a timeout with 2:10 remaining in the first quarter. He then walked to the locker room while clutching his abdomen and was initially listed by the Lakers as questionable to return with an abdominal strain.
The Lakers then ruled him out for the second half.
The Lakers struggled without Davis on the floor. A 76ers team playing without All-Stars Joel Embiid and Paul George outscored the Lakers, 48-32 in the second quarter and took a 73-57 lead into halftime.
