At the front of the field, it was the #83 AF Corse team of Robert Kubica, Phil Hanson and Ye Yifei that took outright victory in the fourth-closest finish in the history of the rac, holding off what was a near-perfect race from the #6 Porsche team of Kevin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor and Matt Campbell.

There’s also an explanation as to why the Ferrari #50 of Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen was disqualified in post-race technical inspection, promoting the #12 JOTA Cadillac into fourth.
