Knicks officially shaking up lineup for Eastern Conference Finals Game 3 vs. Pacers

The Knicks are officially shaking things up heading into Game 3 in Indiana.

With their starting five struggling to get back into a groove, Tom Thibodeau has decided to insert big man Mitchell Robinson into the lineup for Sunday’s Eastern Conference Finals matchup with the Pacers.

Josh Hart will now come off the bench for New York.

Robinson has been an absolute force off the bench for New York throughout the postseason — putting together an 18 percent offensive rebound rate, which is the best among players in the Conference Finals.

With the big man now starting, Precious Achiuwa could potentially jump into his role off the bench.

Hart can now play second unit minutes alongside Miles McBride, which should provide a nice boost for that group with him shooting 41 percent from behind the arc thus far in the series.
