Now that Aaron Glenn, the new head coach of the New York Jets, and Darren Mougey, their new general manager, have decided to move on from Aaron Rodgers, everyone is wondering where the former Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback will end up.
Lately, the hot rumor has been that he will go to the Los Angeles Rams, a team that is reportedly open to trading Matthew Stafford, its current QB1. The Rams have ample young talent on both sides of the football, which makes it seem as if all they need to go far in the playoffs is an upgrade under center.
But Keyshawn Johnson, the former star NFL wide receiver who is currently a Fox Sports 1 commentator, doesn’t think Rodgers is the man to make the Rams contenders again. He said on “Speak” that he feels a potential Rodgers-Rams partnership won’t work.

Rodgers had his moments this season with the Jets, and his overall basic stats — 3,897 passing yards and 28 passing touchdowns — were respectable. However, his 90.5 passer rating and 6.67 yards gained per pass attempt were the lowest of his career in a season he neither had a major injury nor was a backup.
Then there is the matter of his allegedly power-hungry ways, something that reportedly was a reason he left Green Bay. In Los Angeles, head coach Sean McVay, general manager Les Snead and owner Stan Kroenke are in charge, and one has to wonder what may happen if Rodgers tries to meddle in their affairs.
Plenty of people still blame Rodgers for the Jets’ firing of Robert Saleh, who had been their head coach starting in 2021.
On the other hand, if Rodgers plays well and is on his best behavior, and especially if he is joined by star wide receiver Davante Adams, his longtime teammate in both Green Bay and New York, L.A. could perhaps shake up the race for NFC supremacy.
