The Bills have endured all they can handle from the Patriots in their Week 16 clash.

Sean McDermott’s side was tasked with overcoming a 14-point New England first-half advantage. Fueled by Josh Allen, James Cook, and Buffalo’s defense, the Bills did just that, putting themselves in position to capture a 12th victory of the season.

They haven’t quite emerged unscathed, however. Allen looked to have picked up an injury to his throwing arm in the game’s final quarter. He’s already dealing with an injured non-throwing hand that has reportedly been plaguing him most of the season.

Here’s the latest on Allen’s elbow injury.

Josh Allen injury update

Allen was seen grimacing and shaking his right hand after absorbing a hit from Patriots linebacker Yannick Ngakoue early in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s contest.

Bills medical personnel looked at Allen during the Patriots’ offensive drives, attempting to remedy Allen’s issue — which was officially labeled as a right elbow contusion.

But when Buffalo’s offense returned to the field, Allen trotted on with it. He continued to shake his throwing hand throughout the remainder of the fourth quarter, but for now, it appears he has dodged a major injury.

After the game, Allen was asked about the injury. He explained that he fell on his funny bone and because of the cold weather, took longer for the tingling sensation to pass.
