Jordan Love entered wild-card weekend having not thrown an interception since Week 11. The Packers quarterback ended the regular season by stringing together seven games without a pick en route to earning the No. 7 seed in the NFC.
The Eagles’ defense wasted no time snapping that streak in the playoffs.
Green Bay could not have asked for a worse half to begin the wild-card game against Philadelphia. After fumbling the opening kickoff, the Packers’ offense punted on back-to-back possessions, totaling just one first down.
The next three drives? Interception, missed field goal, interception. Love was picked off twice in the second quarter, later throwing a third interception in Green Bay’s 22-10 loss in the wild-card round.

Jordan Love interceptions
The very first play of the second quarter was unceremonious for Love and the Packers. On a 2nd-and-7 from their own 33-yard line, the quarterback dialed up a deep pass attempt to Dontayvion Wicks. However, the young Green Bay wide receiver could not break free of Philadelphia cornerback Darius Slay, who kept with Wicks stride for stride downfield and ended up with the interception.

Later in the second quarter, the Packers managed to cross midfield with less than a minute to go in the half. Love made an attempt to find wide receiver Malik Heath over the middle. However, he failed to see Eagles linebacker Zach Baum sitting underneath the throw. Baum popped up and grabbed the pick, stopping the drive before the Packers could get further into Eagles’ territory for a chance at points.

While the Packers’ hopes were likely already gone, Love sealed their fate in the fourth quarter. Looking for some magic while down by 12, Love fired a pass deep for Bo Melton, but rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell came away with the football. Love’s third interception marked the end of Green Bay’s season, as Philadelphia advanced to the divisional round. Love finished with 212 passing yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions against the Eagles.
