Jazz fan survey results: What Jazz fans think is possible

The Utah Jazz are going to have one of the most interesting seasons of any team this season. What makes it so interesting, besides the shift toward playoff contention, is how many different storylines there are to watch. Multiple players will be competing for different awards and accolades. Whether it’s Darryn Peterson, Keyonte George, Jaren Jackson Jr., or Ace Bailey, each has unique pathways to stardom.

But what accomplishment is most possible for each of these players? In our latest Jazz Reacts survey, Jazz fans let us know.

According to 44% of Jazz fans, Darryn Peterson winning Rookie of the Year is the most likely thing that will happen this season.

It certainly seems very likely. Peterson has the most talent we’ve ever seen in a Jazz rookie. He’ll also be on a winning team and should be given a starting role to play alongside Keyonte George in the backcourt. If he plays well, gets consistent minutes, and the Jazz win a lot of games, it’s hard to see him not winning.

Keyonte George being an All-Star coming in second also makes sense. He’ll have consistent minutes and will play alongside elite talent that will clear the path for him to take another leap.

What’s crazy is that all of these things have a real possibility of happening. Obviously, that’s not likely, but the fact that all of these things aren’t ridiculous really shows how fun this season is going to be.

At FanDuel, Peterson’s odds have fallen to third now that Summer League is over. We’ll see if that changes as the year goes on. One thing is for sure, that Rookie of the Year race is going to be an epic one.
