Sauce Gardner is getting spicy.
Rumors about a budding romance between the New York Jets cornerback, 24, and rapper Ice Spice, 25, have been circulating for weeks – and the NFL player has now added fuel to the fire by seemingly soft-launching the couple’s relationship on social media.
On Wednesday, the two-time Pro Bowler posted a photo dump to Instagram that included photos with his rumored girlfriend.
He captioned the post with a simple Statue of Liberty emoji, suggesting the two were hanging out in New York together.
In one of the photos, Gardner stood with Ice Spice near a luxury car parked on the street in New York City.
Ice Spice was dressed casually in a long-sleeve black top that exposed the bottom half of her midriff. She paired the look with jeans, chunky black boots, and an oversized purse.
Her long red hair was styled down and flowing beneath her waist.
Gardner added a cartoon photo of a bottle of hot sauce wearing his No. 1 jersey while holding a spatula next to a red rose to the post, which insinuated that love is in the air.
Ice Spice commented on the post, “1.”
Several people took to Gardner’s comment section to question his relationship status.
“Did bro just soft launch??” one person commented.
“Spice and sauce,” someone else wrote.
“Awe man he got him a Bronx girl,” another person commented.
Ice Spice and Sauce Gardner were first linked in February
The NFL player was first linked to the rapper in February 2025 when he was spotted on an escalator with her and her security team.
The duo also hit up Druski’s “Coulda Been Love” YouTube series premiere party in February and the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars party together in March.
Although Gardner’s latest social media posts suggest he’s in a relationship with the rapper, he hasn’t officially confirmed it.
However, we know Ice Spice is an NFL fan, so the relationship makes sense.
The rapper has attended several NFL games with her bestie, singer Taylor Swift – who’s dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
She attended Super Bowl LVIII in 2024 in Las Vegas and Super Bowl LIX in 2025 in New Orleans.
