Is Aaron Rodgers married? Steelers QB provides update on marital status amid rumors

The Steelers have a new quarterback.

Aaron Rodgers reported to mandatory minicamp on Tuesday. Fans got the first look at their new quarterback throwing passes to new wide receiver DK Metcalf. 

Rodgers’ day was also notable because it was his first time speaking to the media. They, of course, asked him about the offseason and how he came to the decision to join Pittsburgh, filling in a glaring need on the roster.

Once they got through some of those questions and settled in, the beat writers on hand got a little more pointed in their questions. They referred back to something Rodgers said earlier this spring on the Pat McAfee Show, and something intriguing about his hands.

Here is the new information that Rodgers shared with the media at his first press conference. 

Is Aaron Rodgers married?

Apparently, yes.

The beat reporters at his first practice were quick to notice that he had a ring on his left ring finger. The veteran quarterback had said over the offseason, when he was still unsigned, that he wasn’t really thinking about football because he had plenty going on in his personal life.

Who is Aaron Rodgers wife?

Rodgers revealed on a December appearance of the Pat McAfee show that he had been shopping for his girlfriend. He disclosed that his girlfriend’s name is Brittani and made sure to point out that she spells it with an i.

He had previously been rumored to be dating Mallory Edens, who is the daughter of Bucks owner Wes Edens. Brittani could have been a made-up name, or a new girlfriend, and Rodgers made sure to keep that information private. 

During his first press conference with the Steelers, Rodgers confirmed that he was indeed married and had been “for a few months.”
