The Eagles already played three games earlier in the season without the services of Pro Bowl WR A.J. Brown. Now, the star wide receiver’s status has been in question again for a divisional matchup.

Brown suffered an injury during the Eagles’ 28-23 win over the Jaguars last Sunday. He was hurt late in the first half and did not play at all in the second. It’s thrown his status for Week 10 up in the air.

Philadelphia is set for a pivotal NFC East matchup on Sunday, as the Birds travel to Jerry World to take on the Cowboys. Dallas is 3-5, has lost three games in a row and will be without QB Dak Prescott after suffering a hamstring injury during the team’s Week 9 loss to the Falcons.

When healthy, Brown has been an elite option for QB Jalen Hurts and the Philly offense. In five games, he has 23 receptions on 34 targets for 444 yards and three touchdowns.

Here is more on Brown’s injury and his status for Eagles vs. Cowboys in Week 10.

Is A.J. Brown playing this week?

Brown is officially off the Eagles’ injury report and set to play against the Cowboys in Week 10.

Originally, his status for the matchup against Dallas wasn’t certain, but he had been trending toward playing on Sunday.

Per the Eagles’ injury report, the Pro Bowl wide receiver was limited in practice on Wednesday but practiced in full on Thursday and Friday.

Philadelphia will have its star pass catcher back in action for Week 10 as the team looks to push its current win streak to five games. The Eagles are also 5-0 this season when Brown is healthy, a strong omen for their matchup against the Cowboys.

A.J. Brown injury

Brown began the Week 9 game for the Eagles with a two-catch performance in the first half against the Jaguars, totaling 36 receiving yards. However, he appeared to get roughed up after his second reception, a 16-yard gain with 2:04 to go.

The teams went into halftime with Philadelphia holding a 16-0 lead. However, when the club returned for the third quarter, Brown was seen walking back to the locker room.

Moments later, the Eagles officially designated Brown as questionable to return with a knee injury. Later in the fourth quarter, they ruled him out.

Brown missed three games earlier in the season due to a hamstring injury.
