ANGE POSTECOGLOU was reportedly axed by Nottingham Forest in the tunnel moments after losing to Chelsea.
The Australian’s exit was confirmed 19 minutes after Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at the City Ground.
And reports claim Forest have already made contact with ex-Man City title winner Roberto Mancini over their new vacancy.
Chelsea’s win saw Postecoglou extend his winless reign to eight matches.
And Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis appeared to signal that Big Ange’s time was over after leaving his seat on the hour mark.
Now, it appears that Postecoglou was given his marching orders in the tunnel moments after full-time.

According to TNT Sports, Postecoglou was seen going into the Forest dressing room for his post-match talk after exiting the pitch.
The BBC later added Ange had already been informed of his sacking before speaking to Forest’s stars.
He next left the changing room via the other side of the tunnel area, with Forest chief Edu Gaspar also spotted in the corridor at the same time.
Postecoglou was then seen sporting a bag with him, and the gaffer headed immediately for the car park before leaving the City Ground.
A few minutes later, the news filtered through that he had been sacked, leaving Forest’s players shocked.
Morgan Gibbs-White revealed to TNT Sports, moments before the news broke, that Postecoglou had addressed his players in the changing room.
According to Gibbs-White, Aussie declared he was frustrated with the result after seeing improvements in the style of play on the pitch.
Postecoglou felt Forest lacked the clinical finishing needed to get a result while also lamenting the “sloppy goals” they conceded.
And it’s claimed that Gibbs-White and his teammates had “full faith” that Postecoglou could still turn things around.
But moments after Gibbs-White spoke to TNT Sports, Forest’s players were taken upstairs to the board room for a meeting and were left shocked after being informed of Big Ange’s exit.
It now remains to be seen who replaces the Aussie, himself only drafted in 39 days ago following Nuno Espirito Santo’s exit.
Fulham boss Marco Silva and ex-Everton gaffer Sean Dyche are both appreciated by Marinakis, who has a history of appointing managers who are not at another club.
It could see Italian gaffer Mancini take the helm after reports claimed Forest had been in contact on Saturday.
