A TENNIS star has revealed he received a terrifying message just days after Emma Raducanu’s stalker ordeal.

Frenchman Arthur Bouqier was subjected to vile abuse as he prepared to face Florian Broska at the Thionville Challenger.

Bouqier sealed victory in straight sets as he cruised through the opening round.

But before the match, he received a terrifying threat from a fan who had put money on the result.

Bouqier took to social media reposting the message while also tagging in several tennis authorities.

The threat read: “I just hope you make the effort to beat him in two sets because I have bet 2000 euros for you to win in two sets.

“I swear, if you lose, I will never forgive you. I will track you and your family down just to hurt you, even if it means going to prison.

“Might as well, because if I lose these 2000 euros, I’ll be out on the streets, so my life won’t make sense anymore. I might as well spend my days in prison.

“I swear on my mother’s life that I will come after you. Right now I am at the court in Thionville where you’re playing exactly at 15.20.

“Be careful. These are not empty threats. Good luck.”

Tennis authorities are yet to respond.

But the message to Bouqier came just days after British ace Raducanu was left in tears by a stalker.

Moment Emma Raducanu clocks ‘fixated’ man in crowd & breaks down behind umpire’s chair before he’s ‘escorted out’

The 22-year-old hid behind the umpire’s chair after spotting a man exhibiting “fixated behaviour” in the crowd in Dubai.

He had already followed her in Singapore, Abu Dhabi and Doha.

And she relived her worrying experience ahead of playing in California’s Indian Wells.

Raducanu said: “There were two instances and it was the second one that I just got freaked out by.

“The first one was more like a normal fan approaching you, except for the fact he told me he followed me from everywhere.

“And then he kind of watched my in the coffee shop for a while. The second incident was really worrying.

“I was obviously very distraught, I didn’t know how I was going to finish.

“I literally couldn’t see through the tears, I could barely breathe. I couldn’t see the ball.”
