THE Club World Cup is in full swing as football fever takes over the US this summer.

Superstars such as Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Cole Palmer and Ousmane Dembele have made the trip Stateside for the tournament.

Anyone who has visited America will know of the erratic weather in areas, especially in Florida, as areas such as Orlando brace daily for storms.

As a result, a handful of games at the tournament have started later than they were scheduled.

Wednesday, June 18 has been the worst day for delays so far, with two games in Orlando and Cincinnati delayed due to weather.

  • Benfica vs Auckland City – Orlando, Florida – two-hour delay – thunderstorms
