ENGLAND will be without captain Harry Kane tomorrow due to injury.

The Three Lions take on Wales in a friendly ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Latvia next week.

However, they will be without star man Kane due to a knock suffered in a match for Bayern Munich last week.

Head coach Thomas Tuchel revealed: “Harry will miss the game.

“He got a kick in his last game with Bayern Munich and it is too risky he gets another kick.

“We gave him the chance that everything calms down and we are hopeful he will be ready for the match against Latvia.”

Tuchel also revealed which players are in contention to be captain.

He added: “The captain will be one of Jordan Henderson, John Stones or Declan Rice.”

Kane has been struggling with a knock to his ankle this week and was not in full training on Wednesday.

Instead, he followed his own program indoors.

Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Jarell Quansah also underwent individual training.

Kane hobbled off with five minutes to play during the Bundesliga match between Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
