French Open 2025 prize money: How much is up for grabs at Roland Garros?

FRENCH OPEN action has returned to the big screens for 2025 – and the winners will receive a huge prize pot for their troubles!

Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz battled through a gruelling five-set thriller before beating German icon Alexander Zverev to lift last year’s Men’s crown.

But Iga Swiatek’s journey to success in the 2024 Women’s final was a lot more straight forward as she comfortably beat Italian Jasmine Paolini in straight sets.

However, one thing the winning pair had in common is that they took home a staggering amount of money to go with their titles.

And there is even more money up for grabs at the second Grand Slam of the season.

What is the French Open 2025 prize money?

The total prize pot for the 2025 French Open is €56,352,000 (£43.3 million).

And the winners will take home €2,550,000 (£2.2m) which is approximately a 5.21% increase from Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek’s winnings in 2024.

Prize money will be the same for both men and women.

Here is the full breakdown:

  • Winner: €2,550,000 (£2.2m)
  • Runner-up: €1,275,000 (£1.1m)
  • Semi-finalist: €690,000 (£591,630)
  • Quarter-finalist: €440,000 (£377,270)
  • Round 4: €265,000 (£227,220)
  • Round 3: €168,000 (£144,000)
  • Round 2: €117,000 (£100,300)
  • Round 1: €78,000 (£67,000)

When is the French Open 2025?

  • The French Open 2025 will begin on Sunday, May 25.
  • It will then conclude on Sunday, June 8.
  • Roland Garros in Paris is as ever the chosen venue for this iconic Grand Slam.

How can I watch the French Open 2025?

  • The entire 2025 French Open will be broadcast LIVE on TNT Sports in the UK.
  • Fans can also stream the action on discovery+ through a compatible mobile device or tablet.
  • Alternatively, SunSport will have set-by-set coverage of a number of matches throughout the iconic competition.
