NORWICH CITY defender Shane Duffy took aim at his OWN fans with a foul-mouthed rant amid the club’s run of bad form.
The Canaries have endured a poor start to the season and currently sit 22nd in the Championship table with just eight points from 11 games.
Liam Manning and his players have come under fire as a result, with Duffy hitting back with a furious social media outburst on Tuesday night.
After missing out on a place in the squad for the Championship clash with Derby County, he said: “Ok I’m annoyed. I get it, I actually get it.
“The abuse towards me I understand it! I promise you one thing this is heat [sic] changing room I’ve been involved in.”
The 33-year-old then responded to a post from a fan criticising Norwich boss Manning, which has now been deleted.

Duffy added: “Your [sic] a k**b btw and I know your mates,” before writing: “Context on this your [sic] a g**p basically.”
The Norwich star also denied a suggestion that he had been drinking, adding: “Not had one since Oasis.”
Duffy returned to delete the posts on Wednesday, also issuing an apology.
He said: “It’s been a tough period, and seeing the criticism towards the team has been hard.

“My comment came out of frustration, not a lack of respect for the supporters — we really do value your passion and backing.
“I apologise for my comments.”
Duffy – who joined Norwich two years ago from Fulham – has not made a single appearance this season.
