CHELSEA’S forgotten loanee David Datro Fofana scored a brace against on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Onana, 29, joined Trabzonspor for the rest of the season earlier this month after falling out of favour at Old Trafford.
The Cameroon international had been enduring a difficult two-year spell at United where he couldn’t convince as a starting keeper and was ultimately replaced by Altay Bayindir.
That led to Man Utd splashing £18million for Senne Lammens on deadline day.
Onana, though, has been able to turn a new leaf in Turkey with some impressive performances between the sticks for Fatih Tekke’s side.
The ex-Inter Milan star helped Trabzonspor win at Fatih Karagumruk with a score of 4-3 on Saturday.
However, Onana and co were dealt a late scare, courtesy of Karagumruk loanee Fofana.
The striker came on as a second-half substitute as he replaced another former Premier League ace in Andre Gray on 66 minutes.
And the Ivory Coast international scored twice in less than a minute during stoppage time when the score was 4-1.
First, Fofana beat Onana from a tight corner in a moment the Cameroonian should have done better.
And then the Ivorian took advantage of some dreadful Trabzonspor defending as he picked up a loose ball to hit the back of the net once more.
Fofana is undergoing his fourth loan stint since joining Chelsea from Molde in 2023.
The centre-forward has also played for Union Berlin, Burnley and Goztepe.
Fofana only managed a mere four appearances with Chelsea where he was stricken by injury before ultimately falling out of favour.
