When she was younger, Fatimah’s dad, Floyd Mayweather Sr trained her briefly until her grandmother made it known that she didn’t want her to fight. Fatimah also found out that her dad didn’t want her to box because, at the time, there wasn’t much money to be made in women’s boxing.
During the course of her life journey, Fatimah quickly learned that carrying the Mayweather name was a gift and a curse. The status attached to the name was the gift, and people wanting to test her due to the fact that she’s a Mayweather was the curse.
When she was forced to fight on the streets, Fatimah displayed how her hands were just as gifted as her famous relatives. In the past, she used her hand talent to defend herself, and now, for the present and the future, Fatimah is ready to get paid for using her inherited assets.
When talking with Vince DWriter, Fatimah Mayweather acknowledged herself as being very athletic. When asked about her fighting style, she categorized it as the infamous Mayweather style of boxing.
While she’s in Grand Rapids, Fatimah is being trained by John Guyton. When she makes the commute to Vegas, she will be training with her dad, Floyd Mayweather Sr and her uncle, Jeff Mayweather.
