After the great win last night and a three hour, ten minute rain delay to start the game, the Guardians were shut out for the eleventh time and for the fifth straight series loss.
Tanner Bibee had a quality start and really push through some early struggles. In the top of the second, back-to-back solo home runs put the Padres up 2-0. In the top of the fourth, the lead off hitter drew a walk. A groundout and a wild pitch put the runner on third, allowing him to score on a two-out single. In the top of the sixth, Bibee worked himself into a bases loaded situation. Vogt did visit the mound, but Bibee remained in the game and got an inning-ending…
