The Pittsburgh Steelers return to action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Northwest Stadium to take on the Washington Commanders. Running back Najee Harris will look to continue his hot streak while tight end Pat Freiermuth tries to get back on track.

While the passing attack has clearly improved with Russell Wilson under center, that has not translated to success for Freiermuth, who has just four catches for 70 yards the last two games, including two for 19 in Week 8.

Harris has actually benefitted from Pittsburgh inserting Wilson into the starting lineup, as he’s had a lot more room to run. As a result, Harris notched his third straight 100-yard game before the Steelers’ bye week.

With all that in mind, are we deploying Harris and/or Freiermuth in fantasy football lineups this week? Let’s discuss.

Fantasy football start or sit Week 10: Najee Harris

The Steelers’ improved passing attack under Wilson has no doubt opened things up for Harris, as defenses can no longer stack the box and cheat against the run. After three straight games with 100 or more rushing yards, there is no world where you are sitting Harris this week. In fact, he’s a lineup lock until further notice.

The Commanders are a middle-of-the-road unit when it comes to giving up fantasy points per game to running backs, and they’re bottom five in rushing yards allowed per game. This might be the easiest decision you’ll make all week.

Verdict: Start Harris

Fantasy football start or sit Week 10: Pat Freiermuth

Freiermuth has yet to see the fruits of an improved passing attack under Wilson, as he’s scored just 11 PPR points in the veteran signal-caller’s two starts, which makes him a shaky option this week.

However, he is a starting option nonetheless at a position that has been an abyss this season, and that’s especially true with some good tight ends on a bye this week.

The Commanders are smack-dab in the middle of the rankings of fantasy points per contest given up to tight ends, so this is a fairly positive matchup. On top of that, this Steelers-Commanders matchup has the potential to see a lot of offense.

Consider Freiermuth a better-than-most TE2 play this week.

Verdict: Start Freiermuth
