Fans Overwhelmingly Demand Fury vs. Joshua Clash, Dismissing Fury’s Call for a Third Usyk Fight Amidst Doubts About His Recent Performance

Fans Overwhelmingly Demand Fury vs. Joshua Clash, Dismissing Fury’s Call for a Third Usyk Fight Amidst Doubts About His Recent Performance

Tyson Fury told the media today that if he does return to boxing, he’d want a trilogy match against Oleksandr Usyk in England because he feels he should have won their rematch last December.

Fans Reject Fury-Usyk 3

Fans on social media are more interested in seeing ‘The Gypsy King’ come out of retirement to fight Anthony Joshua in a domestic mega-fight. They already watched Fury lose twice to Usyk, and they have no confidence in Tyson’s ability to win a third fight.

Usyk is too good for him. There’s a lot more interest in a Fury-Joshua fight than seeing Tyson get schooled a third time by the far technically skilled and agile Usyk. Fury appeared to be a middle-aged man, much older than his chronological age of 36, in their rematch. If I didn’t know Tyson’s true age, I’d have mistaken him for a person over 50 years old.

The rivalry between Fury and Joshua has been there since AJ began his career in 2013. People in the UK have repeatedly asked for this fight, but Tyson has turned a blind eye to it, choosing to fight other fighters less talented and safer for him. There’s no other way of looking at it other than to see that Fury ducked the Joshua fight for fear of being knocked out.

Pathetic Fury: Usyk Defeat Denial

“If I was to come back, I’d come back for Usyk, but I want a fair result in England,” said Tyson Fury to the media today, talking about who he’d fight IF he were to come out of retirement. “That would be the fight I’d want next. “I want a fair fight and a fair result, which I know I didn’t. I thought I won it by five rounds.”

As we see here, Fury doesn’t want to confront the truth that Usyk soundly beat him. So, he’s trying to change the narrative, saying he should have won by five rounds, and wants the trilogy in England to ensure he gets a “fair result.”  It’s utterly pathetic.
