WBC and WBO junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora will fight Errol Spence, tentatively scheduled for March 29th in Las Vegas. The fight is still under negotiation.
The former unified welterweight champion Spence (28-1, 22 KOs) will have been inactive for 20 months when his fight with ‘The Towering Inferno’ Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs) occurs.
Errol turns 35 on March 3rd. The fight is expected to be shown on PBC on Prime Video PPV. No word yet on the pay-per-view price, but it’s likely to be near the $80 range.

Errol’s Recent Setbacks
Spence is coming off a ninth-round knockout loss to Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford on July 29, 2023. Errol took a lot of punishment in that fight and was never competitive at all. Physically, he didn’t look like the fighter he’d been in 2018 and earlier in his career. Some believe that the combination of injuries that Spence sustained in his car crash in 2019, sparring, inactivity, weight gain, and age had sapped a lot out of him.
Fundora, 6’5″, is coming off of a long layoff himself, having last fought on April 30, 2024, defeating WBO 154-lb champion Tim Tszyu by a 12-round split decision. That was a grueling fight for both, leaving Tszyu a bloody mess due to a head clash earlier in the fight.
