BLACKBURN striker Igor Tyjon is wanted by England ahead of Poland.

Arsenal target Tyjon, 17, has played for both countries at youth level.

Top FA spy Chris Brass was a guest at Blackburn’s friendly with Accrington last week.

The Gunners are eyeing a deal with Rovers for the 17-year-old, who has already made two substitute appearances in the Championship.

Emirates chiefs are willing to pay over £1million up front, with additional fees tied to future appearances.

However, Blackburn are expected to demand as much as possible for one of their prized academy assets.

Manchester United showed interest in Tyjon a year ago, but the teenager was happy to stay at Ewood Park and fight for a place in the first team.

Arsenal may be harder to resist given their strong track record of promoting young talent.

They have already signed Christian Norgaard, Kepa and Noni Madueke in the summer.

Rovers are also eyeing a pay-as-you-play deal for Yverdon Sports  midfielder Moussa Baradji, 24, after a medical hitch.

Baradji operates as a central and defensive midfielder as well as a right winger.

He played 27 times in the Swiss Super League last season, scoring four goals and making three assists.

Noni Madueke joins Arsenal in £52million transfer from Chelsea as Arteta’s spending spree set to reach almost £200m

Rovers also face competition from Celtic and Premier League newbies Sunderland who have reportedly contacted the 24-year-old’s representatives.

Fiorentina, Torino and Parma in Italy have also shown interest as well as Swiss outfit Basel and Turkish giants Galatasaray.
