The Eagles have won a Super Bowl but they’re hungry for more.
The relentless nature of general manager Howie Roseman and owner Jeffrey Lurie means Philadelphia will pursue more talent this offseason.
One are that needs help is on the perimeter. The Eagles have AJ Brown and Devonta Smith, but beyond that the supporting cast is thin.
Jahan Dotson rounded into form late in the regular season but he’s not a reliable asset. Outside of him it’s unproven, second-year players like Johnny Wilson and Ainias Smith
That’s where Tyler Boyd comes in.
The 30-year-old wide receiver spent eight productive seasons as a Bengal before playing on a one-year deal with the Titans last season. Now he’s a free agent and could be the perfect addition to a potent Eagles offense.
Brandon Austin of Pro Football Sports Network first suggested Boyd as an option for Philly.
“He’s not going to stretch the field or command snaps in two-wide sets in 2025, but he can certainly be another steady and trusted target for Hurts,” Austin wrote.
Boyd’s best seasons were in 2018 and 2019 when he notched back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons. Chances are that success won’t be replicated again, especially on a loaded Eagles’ roster, but it’s proof of the veteran wideout’s capabilities.
He also has deep playoff experience when the Bengals went to the Super Bowl in 2023.
What more can you say about Tyler Boyd? He has just been a solid rock for this Bengals offense, a pros pro, doesn’t complain about volume, and always shows up in big moments.

Roseman is known for making great moves in free agency.
Boyd could be the next sneaky signing that elevates the Eagles in their quest to repeat as champions.
