FANS have been left stunned after Duolingo appeared to leak a major Premier League transfer.
Duolingo is a popular app that uses games to help people learn new languages.
The app’s official account often interacts with people on social media.
It has now appeared to leak Ibrahima Konaté’s potential transfer away from Liverpool.
The French defender has been heavily linked to follow in the footsteps of Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid.
His contract at Anfield expires at the end of the season and would therefore be allowed to move to Spain for FREE.
And Duolingo seems to have claimed the move is happening on X by confirming he is learning Spanish.
It wrote: “Ibrahima Konaté is a member of our Spanish Diamond League!”
Fans have been left stunned as they flooded the comment section.
One posted: “Duolingo leaking a future transfer was not a part of my bingo list.”
A second wrote: “Konate is Madrid bound, you guys. Liverpool will lose this one.”
A third commented: “Duolingo announcing summer transfers in October.”
A fourth said: “Konate changing to Google Translate as we speak.”
Another added: “Duolingo ahead of Fabrizio Romano.”
Konate joined the Reds in 2021 after completing a £36million transfer from RB Leipzig.
He has made 132 appearances for the club, scoring five times and has won Champions League and Premier League titles.
Konate’s potential exit prompted Liverpool to try and move quickly to sign his replacement in the summer.
Arne Slot’s side failed with a late move for Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi.
The Eagles rejected their advances despite his contract expiring next summer.
