Dear Autosport Reader,

I wanted to write to you as I have read the multiple messages asking where the liveblog is for testing.

As many of you will know, Autosport and its sister website, Motorsport, have long carried the same content. Now, as we head into 2025, we are looking to separate them and in doing do so, offer more value for money for Autosport subscribers.

As part of this, as it’s F1 Testing, we thought we would run our own test and that is why the liveblog is now only running on Motorsport. You can find a link to that here.

On Autosport, readers can expect to find the main news as they always have done previously, but instead of the liveblog, they will find reports from the end of each session alongside more-considered and analytical pieces, as well as detailed tech pieces.

Our vision is to get under the skin of what is happening in Bahrain and through our experts explain what it all means. We believe this adds greater value to readers and subscribers, giving a greater depth of knowledge of the inner-workings from within the F1 paddock.

I hope you can understand that like F1 teams we are taking this opportunity to run our own tests and I welcome all feedback on this, which will be listened to.

We are always striving to be better and to provide the best possible content for our audience and as part of that, we must continue to push boundaries, just as they do in motor racing.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Rebecca Clancy
