Weights

Diego Pacheo 166.4 vs. Steven Nelson 168

Andy Cruz 134.8 vs. Omar Salcido 134.8

Cruz (4-0, 2 KOs) and Salcido (20-1, 14 KOs) will be fighting in a 10-round lightweight title eliminator for the WBC belt. This fight should be the main event, but Hearn is pushing Pacheco (22-0, 18 KOs) to turn into a star as fast as possible.

“It’s fight time. The talking don’t matter. It’s time to perform,” said Steven Nelson after weighing in on Friday for his fight against Diego Pacheco on Saturday night. “My focus and my determination. There ain’t nothing I ain’t seen. I seen everything I’m supposed to in camp.

“He’s young. He ain’t seen. He can not prepare for what I’m bringing. It’s going to be an amazing night for so cold. You seen the cold front. It’s gone all across the nation. So cold time, baby,” said Nelson.

“I’m just ready to go. I’m excited for this fight. I hope Steven Nelson is ready for what’s coming tomorrow night. It’s the DP show. If he doesn’t know, he’s about to fight out,” said Diego Pacheco. “Steven Nelson is a good fighter, but he’s never been in with no one like me. I promise. You guys will see tomorrow.

“I’ve prepared like this is the last fight of my life and I’m ready to go and put on another great show for all my people. Most definitely, and I haven’t come this far just to come this far. I’m not letting no man take this from me. This is the DP era, and I’m here to stay. I’m showing that I belong with the elites, and its time for us to go,” said Diego.
