CHLOE KELLY showed her romantic side in England’s dramatic Euros win against Sweden with a sweet gesture to husband Scott.
The 27-year-old forward came off the bench as the defending champs fought from two goals down in their quarter-final battle.
Kelly teed up Lucy Bronze for England’s equaliser before netting in the penalty shootout.
Four of her teammates fluffed the lines from the spot.
But the Lionesses eventually managed to get over the line to book their spot in the semis – although icon Jill Scott was forced to retreat after getting soaked by the sprinklers.
Earlier in the game, Kelly was sat on the bench preparing to come on when BBC cameras picked up something interesting.
The former Manchester City ace had rolled down her socks to add strapping to her leg.
And while they were down, it became clear that Kelly’s shinpads had a very personal touch about them.
Indeed, closer inspection revealed they bore an image of her wedding day.
Kelly married partner Scott Moore a year ago at Merrydale Manor in Cheshire.
The day was clearly a memorable moment for Kelly.
And she paid tribute to her hubby with the shinpads before climbing off the bench to sink the Swedes.
It’s certainly been a busy season for Kelly, who started the campaign at Man City and finished it at former side Arsenal.
She returned to north London on loan in January after falling out of City’s plans.
The deal was made permanent earlier this month after Kelly helped Arsenal beat Barcelona to win the Champions League.
There was more joy for Kelly on Thursday as she boosted England into the Euro semis with a comeback win against Sweden.
She famously scored the winner in the 2022 final against Germany, ripping off her shirt in an iconic moment for the Lionesses.
And Kelly will be hoping for more success in this month’s tournament.
