Fresh from their first-round bye, Patrick Mahomes and the reigning-champion Chiefs will host C.J. Stroud and the young-gunning Texans at Arrowhead Stadium in the AFC Divisional Round of the 2025 NFL Playoffs.

Kansas City’s quest for the league’s first-ever three-peat will need to include a win this weekend, with DeMeco Ryans’ Houston team playing with house money in enemy territory.

Oddsmakers had the Texans losing to Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers in Houston last weekend, but Stroud and company rose to the challenge and defeated Los Angeles 32-12.

This weekend should present a much different challenge, though. Andy Reid’s squad has gone 15-3 in the playoffs in the Mahomes era, and 10-2 in 12 postseason games at Arrowhead. Mahomes and Reid are quite simply the most difficult QB-coach tandem since Brady and Belichick to knock out.

It helps when you have Travis Kelce, Isiah Pacheco and DeAndre Hopkins in tow. Of course, Houston has some playmakers at Stroud’s disposal, too — most notably Joe Mixon and Nico Collins. Houston may enter as a big underdog, but this should be a fantastic game.

Here’s how to see it all go down, with the best prices on tickets for Chiefs vs. Texans in the AFC Divisional Round.
