CHELSEA are looking for players in all positions as deadline day approaches.
Signing a central defender remains the priority for the Blues, with negotiations ongoing for Rennes’ Jeremy Jacquet.
Boss Liam Rosenior said: “It’s a possibility, but every area I am looking to strengthen.
“My job in the transfer market, along with the guys, is to make the squad in every area as strong as it can possibly be.
“Certain players come up [who] you don’t expect to come up, and that can strengthen you whether that’s a wide player, whether it’s a striker, or it’s a defender.
“If we see something, I know the guys are willing to do it, that’s going to improve the team.

“I don’t want to bring in players for the sake of bringing in players, I want to bring in players that have a real confidence.
“If they can impact the team, then we’ll look at it.”
Chelsea are likely to be busier with outgoing deals than new signings, however.
Rosenior does not want to lose striker Marc Guiu or defender Josh Acheampong, but left the door open for winger Tyrique George to leave.
And the Blues are working to find a move for Axel Disasi, who worked his way back from Enzo Maresca’s “bomb squad” into first-team training with Rosenior.
The Blues boss said: “For Axel, I’m delighted.
“I don’t like the term ‘bomb squad’. They’re human beings.
“He’s been very very good at training with us.
“I think every player wants the opportunity to go and play football, that’s why they do it, so if anything comes up for Axel that’s interesting for him and his career, then we’ll look at it.”
