ALEJANDRO GARNACHO’s proposed move to Chelsea could be in jeopardy.

The west Londoners – who have spent big in the transfer market this summer – are keen on signing the wantaway Manchester United winger.

Garnacho, 21, is understood to be keen on a move to Stamford Bridge following his falling out with manager Ruben Amorim.

But he could end up staying put as Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a bid for Fermin Lopez.

That’s according to The Athletic, who claim the Blues are “considering” a move for the Barcelona star.

Negotiations between the clubs, however, are said not to have commenced.

But last season’s Conference League winners are said to be in talks with Lopez’s representatives about a possible move to the Bridge.

Lopez, 22, currently faces an uncertain future at the Nou Camp due to the immense strength in depth the Barcelona squad has.

Lopez last season had to compete against the likes of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Pedri, Dani Olmo and Gavi for a place in the starting XI.

And Barca’s recent loan addition of Marcus Rashford has ramped up the competition for a starting berth.

Lopez was ever-present in Barca’s squad last season and made 46 appearances for Hansi Flick’s side.

He scored eight goals and racked up 10 assists in all competitions.

Man United quartet exiled as Amorim reshapes squad!

Garnacho, meanwhile, scored 11 goals and provided ten assists in 58 appearances for United last season.
