THE Champions League is set to enter the round of 16, with Arsenal, Aston Villa and Liverpool set to learn their opponents.
Manchester City won’t be joining the party in the round of 16, as they were beaten by a Kylian Mbappe inspired Real Madrid 6-3 on aggregate.
Madrid will face Atletico Madrid or Bayer Leverkusen.
As is the way with the new format, everyone knows who they could be facing.
Aston Villa will either travel to Dortmund or Club Brugge, Liverpool will either take on Benfica or PSG, and Arsenal will go to the Netherlands to take on PSV or Feyenoord.
After narrowly beating Celtic, Bayern Munich will face whoever doesn’t get drawn to Real Madrid, meaning there is potential for an all-Madrid and all-German round of 16 tie.
