CARLOS ALCARAZ’S new love interest Brooks Nader was ALSO dating Jannik Sinner during the US Open.
That is according to bombshell reports from American outlet Page Six, which claim the 28-year-old Sports Illustrated model was playing both sides of last week’s US Open final.
Confirmation that Nader was seeing US Open champion Alcaraz caused confusion for many on Wednesday after rumours of a romance with his big rival Sinner had swirled throughout the tournament.
It began when Brooks’ sister Grace Ann Nader told Sirius XM’s Page Six radio that the supermodel had various athletes sliding into her DMs.
She hinted at the identity of one such suitor, saying the messages came from “Every field and court, not the NBA court,” before elaborating that the mystery man’s identity “rhymes with winner.”
Brooks played coy on the subject when quizzed by chat show host Jimmy Kimmel, after being seen at the US Open with fellow late-night presenter Stephen Colbert and his wife.
But she hinted at a different romance, saying that links to the Italian tennis star were “close.”
Brooks said: “Ask Stephen what match we were at, I don’t think [Sinner] was playing at that one.
“You’re warm, but we weren’t at that match.”
Instead, the 28-year-old was watching Alcaraz defeat Arthur Rinderknech in straight sets to book his spot in the quarter-finals.
But confirmation of her romantic interest in Alcaraz, 22, seemingly does not mean Brooks didn’t test the waters with his rival too.
Some confusion was finally alleviated when Grace Ann confirmed the Alcaraz rumours at Raising Cane’s New York Fashion Week show earlier this week.
When asked about a romantic link between her sister and the Spanish phenom, she said: “The rumours are true.
“Dating is such a loose term. But I do know he’s the man of the hour.”
Alcaraz has seen fans speculate as to his dating life before, with rumours previously circling that he was courting British star Emma Raducanu.
If there was anything there, it seems dead in the water now as the six-time Grand Slam winner has seemingly found a new flame.
On whether she has met Alcaraz yet, Grace Ann added: “I’m dying to. Such a cutie.”
In the end it appears the Spaniard has won this battle both on the court and off it.
Not only has he got the girl, but he got the silverware in a thrilling US Open final in New York on Sunday.
Nader has had a series of high-profile relationships since rising to fame.
She got officially divorced from billionaire Billy Haire earlier this year and was briefly rumoured to be seeing Prince Constantine-Alexios of Greece and Denmark.
She endured a publicised break-up earlier this year with her former Dancing With the Stars co-star Gleb Savchenko, which she touches on in her family’s new reality show ‘Love Thy Nader’.
