CARLOS ALCARAZ wrote history as the youngest man to complete the Career Grand Slam.

And the Spaniard did so in front of Rafael Nadal, his compatriot and the one whose record he snatched.

Alcaraz, aged just 22, completed his set of all four Majors with a comeback win over Novak Djokovic.

Djokovic was himself going for a new record as the first player, male or female, to win 25 Grand Slam singles titles and take the outright lead over Margaret Court.
